A Facebook memory recently popped up—a spark that started it all.
This was my perspective shift: the shift that ignited the power within me, within 2Dudes1Dream, and within Pride Majic.
At the time, we could only see the potential, but we were open to it. This was before we even knew we would have a brand or a business. The message of that original reading was about letting go of control and allowing ourselves to receive what was waiting for us—if we were willing to follow our hearts and trust our intuition. This, my friends, is magic.
THIS IS PRIDE MAJIC.
This magic is not available only to Shane and me. It is available to everyone—even you.
Today, believe in your potential. Believe in the power inside you. Believe that you are worthy of everything your heart desires.
I challenge you to check in with your soul and your higher self and ask for guidance. Let go of the story you are holding on to and the story you believe defines you.
You are not the story.
You are not the victim.
You are the author.
You are the creator of your own destiny.
Make a conscious decision today to no longer live in the past. Do not live for a future you cannot see. Choose to live in this present moment.
This is where you have power. This is where you can create change through a decision made right now or through a sudden spark of inspiration. This is where we have the power to create something magical.
We cannot create in the past. The past is no longer happening, and it does not define you. When we remain focused on the past, we stay stuck there. You cannot create from the would-have, should-have, or could-have moments of your life.
But do not live only for some vague future when everything will supposedly be better—a future job, a future purpose, or a future life that is still unknown. You cannot create in the future. There is no power in constantly waiting for the future; there is only longing.
Today is you.
Today is your power.
Today is your magic.
Wield it.
“How?” you may ask.
Stop telling yourself that you cannot. Stop saying awful things to yourself. Stop cutting yourself down. The way we speak to ourselves can rob us of our magic.
Begin by changing your inner dialogue. Stop judging yourself. Learn from your mistakes, but do not allow yourself to be held captive by them. Understand that life experiences give us opportunities to discover what we want and what we do not want.
Look for the opportunity to grow. Make a different choice today. Begin respecting yourself and honoring your boundaries.
Through these changes, you will begin to love yourself. From that love and respect comes your spark.
This is where your magic lives.
This is your power.
When you change the way you see yourself and fall in love with who you truly are, you will begin to see other people—and the world—differently.
The energy you put into the world will become your own beautiful majic. The world is a mirror, and the majic you put into it will be reflected back to you.
This is your Pride.
This is you.
This is your power.
