As I sat this morning with my husband this morning I thought, we have so much to be thankful for. Life is not about sitting and waiting for things to happen. We are co-creators with source energy. We have the power to manifest what we desire. Our only blocks or obstacles are what we place in our way. I have learned so many things about life and myself but there is one thing that I refer to often. We have the power to create change in our life, we just have to get out of own way. We are obstacle to our success. Our thoughts become and our circumstance. If we are focusing on negative energy we attract negative energy, if we focus on positive energy, we attract positive energy. Does that mean nothing “bad” happens or we find ourselves in a place we don’t want? No. We are here having a human experience. In this reality things happen that we don’t like but what is Important is what we do with it. Do we focus on the loss or the “bad” experience or do we find the lesson in it? I want to reframe the word “bad.” Try not to label uncomfortable experiences as bad, but see it just as an experience. Try not to focus on the why, or why am I here but use the experience to learn, grow and evolve. It is the Art of Allowing and not having resistance to our human experience. It is through contrast we know what we want and don’t want. Contrast are things we face that does not feel good and is something we don’t want. Contrast helps us manifest what we do want.
As I said before we are co-creators and this next sentence will be challenging to read for some. We attract or create the contrast by our thoughts. For example, we worry about money and lack of it. This focus on what you don’t have only attracts the same. If we focus on lack, we attract lack. Through most of my life I moved from one major issue to another. I struggled to survive. I literally would look around every corner for the next thing to take me down. Guess what happened? There was always something around the corner. I created it by my energy. When I became 43 things started to change. I was done with the cycle. It started by saying I no longer accept this reality and started thinking of what I wanted. Things did not change overnight. I was on the previous cycle for 43 years, reprogramming my thoughts and patterns will also take time. It started by realizing I was not happy in that current reality. I also knew I deserved and was worthy of the life I wanted. Happiness and success is our birthright. This happiness starts with us. How do we talk about ourselves in our thoughts and to others. We all want others treat us well while we totally destroy ourselves in our thoughts. In my previous life I had a few that saw my value I didn’t see in myself. As a child I was beaten often my the neighborhood kids. In my jobs I had bosses that treated my terrible. I didn’t understand. I knew I was a good person but why did others treat me this way. I didn’t understand why others would be so cruel. In reality, my thoughts about myself I was more cruel. I may have run into circumstances with others but in my mind was a battleground. Constant bombs with explosions of hate against myself. When I was in high school I had a friend bring me to the bathroom and stood me in front of the mirror. I cringed and tried to pull away. He asked me, “What do you see?” I couldn’t even look in the mirror not even for moment. At that time, I hated the image that was reflected back at me. I couldn’t even look at myself. I resented this moment and was angry at that friend for a long time.
The first step In making change in your life is learning to love yourself. Love yourself above all other things or others in your life. Putting yourself first is not selfish, its self-full. Selfish is when you prop yourself up at the expense of others. Self-full is loving yourself fully while loving others with the same compassion and empathy. How do you move from a raging battle to peace? It start with a thought at a time. When you hear the bomb coming, you use your defense system and take it out. I remember in the beginning of self-discovery I was go on walks. I would walk for miles sometimes 2-3 hours a day. One day I was walking through downtown Minneapolis. As I walked, I would be in my thoughts evaluating and processing. As I walked, I had a bomb hurled at me. I immediately said out loud, “NO! That is not true for me anymore.” It took months, even years of this self- defense system. I started to be true to myself. I found when I respected myself others began to respect me. My relationships became more full-filled. My work relationships and even my jobs improved. I started getting promotions and jobs that propelled me. Our life experience it is a journey not a destination and along this journey it’s important to have an energy of gratefulness. If we think of emotions as energy or vibration, its easier to use this energy to create a better life experience.
Gratitude is a high vibrational frequency is not just a thought but a feeling. Gratefulness as energy is the idea that appreciation is a powerful, high-vibrational energy that shifts your mindset from lack to abundance, attracting positive experiences, improving well-being, building connections, and fostering resilience. It is a choice to focus on blessing and transforming ordinary moments into powerful forces and momentum for Joy and success. Once we are able to see through the smoke and see the sun after the battle has stopped, we are able to see ourselves others and life through another perspective. We are no longer hiding in the trenches but standing in our strength in the light. By standing in the light, we are able to shine our light to share with others.
Practicing what we learn.
On Dec 13,2025, Shane and I were sitting on the same couch at 6:05am and took our first sip of coffee. We both heard a crash outside our window. As we looked out, we saw both our cars were hit by truck. In one second both our vehicles were totaled. There are a lot of emotions that come when this happens, shock, anger, sadness, even numbness. When life experiences happen, it is important to honor the feelings and process them. What can happen it we can get stuck in a feeling or emotion and be paralyzed. I was sad at times that morning even shed a tear. I earned my car on my own and never missed a payment. This car was a tangible trophy of my success over my past. It wasn’t long before I said to Shane, “We get new cars for Christmas.” We have been talking about new cars for about a year, but we had plans in another year or two. We have learned to be careful what we say or put out in thought and desires as we have become great manifesters. The universe answered our request but moved up the timeline. Within a week Shane and I signed papers for 2 new cars that were beyond anything we could have imagined. These cars were part of our co-creation with universe, or I can call Source Energy. We could have had resistance and remained stuck in the loss and worry. Someone had said to me, “Boy, you have some bad luck.” I immediately said, “NO!” It was not bad luck it is an opportunity, a gift. We got something that honestly, we may have done for ourselves. We got something better and bigger than we even would have imagined. They key is let go of resistance and not hold thoughts that limit your experiences. Be in the spirit allowing, allowing means not being attached to an outcome. If we are attached to a certain outcome, we can be limiting what is truly meant for us. It is important also to follow your own truth not what the world tells you. In our example, the world said we were unlucky, but my truth was we were blessed and received a gift. Reclaim your energy and your strength. Use the tool below to help you let go of your resistance.

· A candle (orange, gold, or white if you have it)
· A small stone or crystal (or anything solid nearby)
· Both feet on the floor
Set the Space
Sit comfortably. Place your feet flat on the ground.
Light your candle and say out loud (or silently):
“I choose to come back into my body. I am safe right now.”
Take 3 slow breaths, longer on the exhale.
Ground the Body
Place one hand on your chest, one on your lower belly.
Inhale through your nose for 4 Hold for 2
Exhale through your mouth for 6
As you exhale, imagine:
· Thoughts draining downward
· Energy moving from your head → chest → belly → feet → into the earth
Say softly:
“I release what is not mine to carry.”
Release the fear or Resistance.
Name the worry — only once.
(when you name the energy you take its power away)
Say:
“I am afraid of ______.”
Now respond to it with truth:
“This fear is a thought, not a prophecy.”
Visualize that worry dissolving into the ground like smoke.
Reclaim your Fire and strength.
Hold the stone or place your hands over your solar plexus.
Imagine a warm golden flame in your belly.
Not frantic — steady.
Say slowly:
“I lead with confidence.”
“I trust my vision.”
“I do not walk alone.”
Let the flame grow until it feels empowering, not overwhelming.
